Dear Best Friend,

I didn’t remember the first time I met you. But having you in my life was one of the best things that ever happened to me. I’m so glad you exist. I’m so glad you’re my friend. I’m just so glad you’re a part of my life. I’m sorry I’ve treated you like shit. I’m sorry for being too jealous and then I started to control things you like and don’t like. It was terrible, I’m sorry. I’ve realized it was the shittiest thing to do when I started seeing it from your perspective. I don’t know how you put up with me - or how you are still putting up with my shit.  I’m the worst friend you can ever have, and I don’t deserve you at all. But thank you for that - thank you for putting up with me. Thank you for making me smile and laugh until I cry. Thank you for being patient with me. I don’t know what I’d do without you, man. I’ll try to be a better friend and I hope you don’t leave me. If you do, I’ll just probably shrink and become a tiny tiny tiny orange that cries every night.
