Some stuff I forgot to put in James’s main character post related to her ability to see the future:

1. Most of the time it’s very vague but other times it’s so oddly specific it kind of scares the other lodgers. 

2. Certain people’s futures are connected to certain stars or constellations. For example, Jekyll/Hyde is Gemini, Gibbs is Cassiopeia, Frankenstein’s Creature is Orion, etc.

3. James is rarely wrong but when she is it’s never anything serious

4. Because of James’s knowledge of the future and how everything is connected, she figured out Jekyll’s secret. She mainly uses it for comedic reasons, all of the rumors about Jekyll and Hyde’s relationship were started by her

5. She doesn’t know what Gibbs is doing with the fabric of Time because the magic messes with the stars and just kind of leaves a void where it should be. It unnerves James whenever she sees it.

6. James preaches about respecting the flow of Time and not messing with anything but she works quite a lot to avoid the worst parts of the future. The only people who knows she does this is Jekyll and Hyde

James, to Jekyll: So, today Frances Gibbs broke the laws of time so I'm starting a kickstarter to put them down.

James: Benefits of killing them is time would get messed with way less.

Rosaline James

Universe: The Glass Scientists

Gender: Cis female

Age: 30

Birthday: October 17, 1855

Hair/Eye: Blonde with blue eyes

James is an Astro-cartographical Futurologist. She looks at patterns in the movement of stars and in the actions of people, and she draws connections to the two. By doing this, she can get a vague idea of what will happen in the future. She joined the Society of Arcane Science after predicting a sickness in her neighborhood. It had been an off day so she might have accidently made it sound like she was cursing the town. Jekyll picked her up just as she was being chased for witchcraft.

James was born in an attic on the outskirts of London. Her family was very poor and so was stuck living in the attic of a rundown building with other poverty stricken families. Due to her time in the attic, she developed a severe case of claustrophobia. However, it doesn’t hurt her often as she spends most of her time on the Society’s roof. On a positive note, she got to look at the stars through the holes in the attic roof and fell in love with them.

James maintains her position in the Society as the sassy mom-friend. She tries her best to be a good True Neutral but she hangs out too much with Hyde for that to be true. She’s one of the more level-headed lodgers but has a tendency to get over emotional when pushed. Her hobbies include: predicting the downfalls of people she doesn’t like, busting the others when they’re doing something bad, and making sure Hyde doesn’t do anything too illegal. James takes the laws of time very seriously and anyone who messes with them is aN ASSHOLE, GIBBS
