Hello! How did you make your icon with the background and shadow? Thank you!

Hi, sorry for the delayed reply! 

For the shadow and background i used photoshop! You have to select the sim on the picture with the Rapid Selection tool, press ctrl c and then ctrl+v and it will copy the selected image on a new layer. After that, you use the rubber/eraser tool (i don’t now its name in english, my PS is in italian) on the initial image - the background level -choosing the color of your preference, and you’ll have the colored background. For the shadow, you double click on the level, it will open a window named Level Style, at the bottom you have the drop shadow/external shade option, and there you can fix th shadow as you want.

I hope this was clear (i’m not really good at tutorials haha)  if not just tell me and i’ll show you with picture how to do it :)

Whoa! Your Snow White character is so cute! I want to do a Disney Princess challenge as well. What poses do you use to make your sim so expressive in the stories?? :) I might want to try to do something like that!! I’m not very good at like.. idk story writing or something haha! But I want to show my sim is scared of old women

some of my favorite expressive poses (both in facial expression and body poses) are by the v talented @simmerberlin! I think their poses are definitely must-haves for any story save! I also highly recommend scrolling through @sssvitlans 'facial expressions pose' tag, which can be found in their pose directory + @ts4-poses-masterlist! those two blogs are invaluable sources of potential pose goodness!

tbh, finding the right pose/cc is trial-and-error! but there's a lot of good ones out there!
