Lloyd wasn't his first choice of bars, which was why he surprised even himself when he took the turn in the doorway to then occupy a seat at the bar. He liked whiskey well enough, in the only way whiskey was to be liked -- downed while already drunk when there was no other options left.
Still, after he tells the bartender of which whiskeys he doesn't like, he requests he give him something that might change his mind. It may very well have been an impossible task to dole, but he did it any way.
Even if the drink wasn't one hundred percent to his liking, he did enjoy the ambiance of the bar, especially on a night like that when it was more muted and slow paced. There was no one sat on either side of him, and he stretched his back out against the long chair he was sat in with some gratitude that it wasn't a backless stool.
It was in stretching his arms out did he realise there was another figure sat a couple of seats down, and he had almost let them fade into his peripheral until he took a better look and discovered the previously indistinct someone wore the face of the very girl that occupied his mind almost constantly.
"What you got there?" He asked in lieu of a hello, ignoring the redundancy of his own question in a bar that was clearly themed.
