Rose Arbor

*Sigh* Back in 2014 my large cross stitich project looked like this, and because I rarely ever manage to find time to work on it it’d already taken a ridiculously long time to make it that far.

I clearly managed to do quite a bit more work on it at some point, but I don’t appear to have taken any photos of that stage.

After fishing it out once more, and getting quite a bit done over the weekend (’quite a bit’ in cross stich is still a pretty small amount of area)

It now looks like this:

And I’m determind to get this finished this time!

Rose got to the top of the Gardening Career and therefore has fulfilled the last goal of her generation!

After hours of hard work, my husband finished my rose arbor!!!  The rose is Don Juan, it will be dark red and should by fragrant and grow 12-14 ft.  I can’t wait.
