How do you tell someone who has left that its ok to come home. That you always have a space for her and the time apart hurts but still the feelings you have are present but tinged with grief and a want to fix things

I wish the wing she gave me would start feeling complete again, that i would be lifted from the stage of being a shell, our form even less than the shadows around flesh that we used to inhabit.
I know how i can try fix it but I fear that it is a step too far
Thinking about it more its kinda wild that i have an actual thing that is like here's the mental anguish you are suffering and you can feel exactly how much it hurts and it can be fixed but also the fact that it's not fixable unless you feel safe which only happens with your partners which you can't fully relax anyway because its an overwhelming sensation of "this is temporary" And the way I know how to fix it but i can't because the people i know which would are in different countries
