Dear Diary: Rose Hamada, January 31st, 2058

Dear Diary,

What a great start to the weekend! I'm going to a special showing of Anastasia coming up, and Tía Honey Lemon just surprised me with her Once Upon a December dress! I feel like such a princess!!!

She also asked me to model this dragon outfit that she's featuring in a D&D collection in her online boutique! I love the dress, and the little wings and fins are so cute! I love nerdy fashion and I'm so lucky Tía asks me to model in exchange for sewing lessons and my own versions of these outfits--to me it's honestly just like cosplaying so it's not even really work!

I'm looking forward to this weekend--I'm going to stream with Penny tonight, and if he's not too tired Papa said we might be going to a My Little Pony meetup tomorrow! 💙 It was a long week but the weekend looks like it's off to a great start!

Rose is ready for Halloween, and this year we decided to go a little more spooky than sweet and made her a Carrie White costume! ❤️ (I found the blood splatter fabric on Etsy, I had a little too much fun splattering red paint on everything else XD)

Last completed outfit of 2024! I had a lot of fun playing with the black/white/grey color scheme, I had been given the tunic fabric by a friend as remnant, I wasn't sure what I'd do with it but I'm challenging myself to try to work through my fabric stash and I'm really proud of how this turned out! It was also my first time making an underbust corset and I'm a little obsessed 🥰

A couple collection updates--between online sales and Christmas gifts I've definitely added to my Monster High collection, INCLUDING a Creeproduction G1 Lagoona who I am over the moon about!!! And my parents gave me these precious penguin babies! 💙

And finally, this PRECIOUS Angel Dust OAAK doll from Bluemothapothecary on Etsy, he's absolutely perfect!!!!

Magic Kingdom: Day 1

Rose and Penny visited the Magic Kingdom as Rapunzel and Ariel--the cutest little princesses!

Up close pic of the boots because I think they're so cute! They're ILY 4EVER so they were a little hard getting on but I tried the trick of slicing down the back of them and it worked great!

Magic Kingdom Day 2

Last day of our trip--Rose was dressed up as Mulan and we actually got to meet Mulan!!! (Somewhere between the hotel and the park we lost her sash, though, a true costuming tragedy D:)

For the last meal of our trip we went to Be Our Guest, with both girls dressed as Belle, which was truly magical! Such a great trip, I hope we can go back soon!

Epcot Day 2

Epcot Day 2--Rose was dressed as Figment and we actually got to MEET Figment which was incredible!

I made Penny a Nemo themed dress so of course we had to do a little photo shoot for her too!

Then we took the girls to play in Moana: Journey of Water! (Don't worry, we were careful, no dolls were harmed in the making of these photos!)
