the expression on owen's face should give it away. the fact that he most definitely did not know prior to seconds before. he raises an eyebrow, taking in the younger woman, attempting to determine exactly what he's supposed to do in this situation. he's got some options. some. some he'd really rather not think about, particularly those relating to telling her mother. some might call him crazy, but he's not crazy enough to walk up and tell rose tyler of all people what his daughter's been up to.
he's shaking his head, running through his quickly dwindling options. god, he's really screwed. in a last ditch attempt, he turns the question back onto chloe, crossing his arms over his chest as he speaks. "and have you told your mother this?"
