Well, here we go. Both Ashley and Florenz needed some art, so this reveal as it will probably happen was something I wanted to do. I still don’t know what Florenz’ problems are, but they’re probably better than being an introverted octohybrid and not fitting into an extroverted inkling society. :(
This is also probably the first time I’m attempting an attack on your feels! XD
On my way to France, I remembered all of them doodles I did before, and realized I could turn some of them into full body sketches!
For our statuesque, french-ish thicc stunner Primrose, this was necessary. After all, she is a six-footer. Unfortunately, she is so tall that when I changed my plans for her legs, I had almost no room for her feet (hence her lack of ‘em). ^_^’
Guess what I managed to finish while in France! The forecast is cloudy with some rage, so be like Hua and bring your Brellas! I got Splatoon 2 today and tried the weapon in hero mode and I gotta say I like that weapon. Can totally imagine someone as shrewd as Hua putting it to terrific use.
Oh right, angry Jaffar. He’s best Jaffar!

So guess what song’s still stuck in my head! No one plays Gaston as as well as @tamarinfrog’s Jonquil! And Emerald would certainly Lefou it up for him! Though it begs the question... What would get Jonquil’s ego bruised in the first place?
Anyway, this was fun to do, from the idea to the “crowd“. Speaking of, Daisy (top left) and Belladonna (bottom left) belong to Tams, Primrose and Riley (right), belong to me, and then there’s Tri-Falls’ Dunkin who’s there for... reasons. Some are glad to sing along, and others... quite aren’t. XD
Oh! I almost forgot! Getting Jonquil into the rest of the song is very much encouraged!

Yeah, the rose team, whatever I’m calling it, is now here to stay. One thing led to another, expressions led to some more expressions and before I knew it I had a full team! Designing Primrose’s teammates was a little rough, but I like ‘em all equally!
Clockwise starting from the top left we have captain Primrose, shrewd right-hand squid Hua, the rolling charmer that is Briar and my resident newbie Florenz! If you want to know more about them, check back in a few days after I update the My Squids page, or rather, split it up!

What a way to introduce a new character, is this not?
So yep, Primrose makes her first appearance as a bunny. I mean, Splatoon 2 releases later this year, so I don’t know what she’ll be wearing. Might as well draw her in a bunnysuit, right? Funny thing is, Primrose is a bit of a covert pervert so this is something she might actually do.
More notably, she is exceptionally relaxed and can offer inklings some good life advice, like in the obligatory texted version.
Anyway, have a field day, Bunny Research Lab!
