Hi! I was wondering how you made your rose-infused vodka and it's been bugging me since you made the post about it, could you upload the recipe please? x
Rose vodka (or any other infused vodka) is super-simple to make!
Buy some good-quality vodka.
Have a supply of pesticide-free rose petals. The more the better.
Decant the vodka into large jars with lids. Large, because you will need to reach into them.
Add a couple of handfuls of rose petals to the vodka. Seal the jar, then shake gently so all the petals have been soaked in vodka.
Put the jar in a cool, dark cabinet for a few days.
Open the jar, strain out the now probably colorless rose petals, and replace them with new rose petals.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 for a few weeks.
Remove the final batch of rose petals, strain the vodka through a few paper coffee filters, then decant the rose vodka into bottles of your choosing!
I have a bunch of rose petals in a ziplock in my freezer right now, because Thea keeps bringing me wonderfully fragrant roses, and I haven’t had time to go pick up the vodka for the second batch.
