To My Worried Caryl Peeps

Just in case anyone was freaked out about my Caryl writing, I can tell you this much is true:

I still write Caryl. I will continue to write Caryl.  (Of course, I can always use the nudging and encouragement to up my productivity, and it’s always appreciated.) I was here driving nails into this ship to see her built, and I’ll be here when she sinks down to the murky depths (if we can’t hold her together).   As a side note, but always related with me, I will also continue to write Mandrea, because I built that ship, damn it.  LOL I’m not going anywhere.  (Unfortunately, for those who would love to see me gone and would have loved that for a long time.  Sorry, you’re out of luck. LOL)  I am just also enjoying other things, as well, and I invite anyone who might be interested in that to join me on the Good Ship Lollipop.   Seriously, I’ll stop now.  I write a lot of things.  I’d love to share them all with you.  Hit me up if you want to nerd out any time.  But I’m not going anywhere, and I’ll still be writing Caryl.

A poem about AI art

When I find an art piece was made Not by human hands but by The shredding twisted claws of the plagiarism machine It is a shock as unpleasant As stepping carelessly And finding your sock is wet

You grimace at the cold But grit your teeth and move on Your sock will dry And the tomatoes still need picking And by the time you come inside The error is all but forgotten Even if the puddle remains

And yet I cannot help but dread The day I find my house is flooded And someone has taken my gumboots

I have never written a super cheesy “there’s just one bed” caryl story, and I need to remedy that at some point (when I can write it down).

What other delightfully cheesy and overdone one shots am I missing? Lol

In light of new information, I’m just going to tell everyone that I 100% plan to keep writing my Caryl stories (though I do appreciate your support and help getting my mojo back and going at full speed after my recent hiccup that you all know about), even though I’m not watching anything else.  Hugs to everyone else who feels like I do right now.  If you’re here to read, though, I’ll be here to write.

If I had a nickel for every time someone made some comment to me (or sent me a message) about not liking baby fic/kid fic (or babies, or kids, or whatever you want to call any of it), then I could retire comfortably and spend my entire life writing more fic for them not to like.

I mean, I’m sincerely, honestly, not even trying to be mean.  I’m really not.  Just consider this: I’ve been here like...at least a minute.   Are you still surprised?  Is it honestly shocking you?  Because if you’re new here, and you’re new to me and my fic, that’s one thing, and like you may need an adjustment period, but if you’ve been here a while... I’m just saying...

OK, so...clearly I have to write some Saffi/R/7 tomorrow, but I definitely want to write some Caryl this weekend and work on getting my feels and mojo back.  I’m going completely rogue.  LOL  Any burning requests for Caryl?
