Rose lounged lazily in a plush chaise by the outside pool, squinting in disgust at the blazing sun. It was a rare enough sight, being nestled so securely in the bosom of the Canadian woods, but Rose hated it. On a normal day she had to dip herself in sunscreen; on a sunny day she was all but marinating in the stuff. She waved a neatly manicured hand at a nearby body- the sun made it hard to dicern their identity, summoning them over. “Do you happen to know if we ever actually put in that indoor pool? This sun is awful.”
