some assistance
Wally had been to Unova before, a few years ago, but never to Castelia. The event he’d been attending had been out in the countryside, away from the exhausting bustle of the city. Not this time.
He carefully counts out the Unovan money he was still getting used to and hands it to the cashier of the little corner convenience store he’d walked to from his hotel. Wanda had promised she and Riley would bring him dinner but it was getting late and he was hungry, and who knew how expensive room service would be. He takes his drink and sandwich and steps back out onto the street, Eden trailing him. Taking a Pokemon along might not have been necessary in a safer neighborhood like this but he didn’t want to take chances.
Now... if he could just remember how to get back to the hotel. It all looked so different at night, and he was still a little jetlagged. He couldn’t remember which way he’d taken to get here. The people walking by look too hurried to stop and help him, so he stands by the doorway of the store, looking lost, because he was.
