Sitting down with a nice bottle of red and a long edit ahead from the latest photo shoot at the splendid @regattarosebay - can’t rave enough about this place, the view, the food and gorgeous staff. This week was a shoot mainly for gin cocktails with a few new dishes thrown in. This Steak Tartare from @regattarosebay made my toes curl, my eyes roll and I considered a Meg Ryan When Harry Met Sally restaurantgasm. I have just sat down to edit all the pics from yesterday’s epic shoot at the very fancy @regattarosebay - one of my favourite shoots of the year booked via word of mouth from the truly awesome Leonie at @tequilamockingbirdrestaurant (thanks lovely). It’s tough to beat the location of Regatta, on a wharf overlooking Rose Bay, the food was OMFG divine fine dining. The first dish to give me a multiple foodgasm was this new, as of this week, bar menu dish..... 🧀🧀 Baked Le Duc Vacherin with thyme and lemon zest served with toasted sourdough rubbed with garlic and aged balsamic. The smell alone made me giddy and the jiggle of the liquid under the cheese crust made me moan in anticipation.
