carter had just gotten home from work when he’d walked into the house and saw his parents in the living room, he’d waved and greeted them before telling him he was off to bed. his room along with his step sisters were in the basement, which had really come in handy for the two of them these days. with the house being so big their parents hadn’t ever really come downstairs and they were mostly alone. closing the door as he was walking down the stairs to the finished basement, he’d heard the water running from the shower and the male could only smirk. he’d quickly began to peel off his work clothes as he was sneaking into the bathroom, spotting the girls figure through the shower curtain. he’d tried to make his movement as quick as possible as he was getting into the shower with her, arms immediately wrapping around her waist as he hadn’t wanted her to scream and startle their parents he was speaking. “well hello gorgeous.”

      it was three in the morning and the two of them were standing in the foyer of his place as if it were an every day thing. he could see the irritation written all over her face but he just didn't have it in him to get as irritated as she was. ❝ what do you want from me? ❞ he shouts over her, raising his eyebrows. ❝ you said you wanted to leave so i fucking let you. did you only do that so i would chase you? i don't chase anybody, after three years i'd think you'd realize that. ❞

          okay, ryder knew that doing this would only lead to problems but he was tired of having his entire family on his back for not having a girlfriend, or better yet, being married yet. so after a phone call with his mom he had accidentally let it slip that he was in fact engaged when in reality he was not. so after asking around, one of his friends had introduced him to one of their friends and apparently this girl was alright with faking the entire relationship while his family was in town.   “  look i really appreciate you doing this.  ”   he says, letting her in to his apartment before closing the door behind him,   “  am i an idiot for lying ? yeah. huge one.   ”

the two things seemed to accidentally coincide, stefan setting up the kitchen for a date and inviting the younger girl over for a fairly normal reason. that aforementioned date was cancelled twenty minutes before his call to evony, after his daughter had told him to call her instead while she was busy with some other friend. he knew the things belonged to evony, anyway, and he figured he knew her and her family well enough to just call and invite her over to get them. he had been sitting in the living room, foolishly not even thinking to extinguish the candles at the table in their kitchen he’d set up. even the dinner he made was still fresh, waiting for him to get up and eat at some point. by the time the younger girl arrived he still hadn’t caught on to how the house looked. “i brought it down here for you, i didn’t know if there was anything else of yours though.” he explained as he led her into the kitchen and then moved to lean against the counter, watching her for a moment as she assessed her things. “is that it?”

gabriel woke up with a raging headache as the sunlight peaking through the curtains washed over his face. he turned with a groan only to realize that he wasn’t alone in his bed. he opened his eyes slightly to peak out and see who it was, who he saw had him wiping a hand over his face and sitting up slightly. he took another glance before he realized that he wasn’t wearing anything at all. “what the hell?” he spoke to himself as he tried to wake up more and remember how they ended up in this situation. @rosebcd
