HI I SAW A POST FROM 4EVER AGO ASKIN 4 LAIROSE HCS i think rose tells sorey one night abt her crush and sorey is so EXCITED & wants to HELP so he gently prods lailah like 'hey you've been around a long time, have you ever met human/seraph couples? have you ever loved a human? would you be OPEN to dating a human?' & it seems natural bc his relationship w mikleo (&he rly is curious!) but he's also INVESTIGATING FOR HIS BUDDY (i feel sorey is rly SQUISHY & ROMANTIC he wants his girls to be happy!!)
also as a side note, i bet sorey and rose gush ALL THE TIME about how great it is to armatize with lailah?? she’s ancient and powerful and she KNOWS IT, so the self-assured way she carries herself in battle makes them feel CONFIDENT and STRONG and SEXY. lailah gets all blushy n cute when they mention it to her like ‘it’s nothing special, ive just been through a lot and trust in my abilities’ and they’re like 'THAT’S EXACTLY WHY YOU’RE SO WONDERFUL AND WHY ITS SO NICE!!’

and honestly I love the thought of them gushing about armatizing with Lailah!!! LIke??? it’s so something they would do. Sorey is enthusiastic about everyone but like there is something special about Lailah because she’s so experienced. and because it’s Lailah like honestly Lailah needs more love and Rose and Sorey would give it in abundance

pfft Sorey asking those kinds of questions... Lailah probably understands immediately that he’s thinking about Mikleo, but not that he’s thinking about Rose too. so Lailah is probably completely thrown off the scent wrt Rose’s crush, but of course I like to imagine it’s some good old-fashioned mutual pining going on; Lailah has this crush on Rose, but thinks Rose wouldn’t be interested in a seraph, and Rose has a crush on Lailah, but thinks Lailah wouldn’t be interested in a human
also, um, i just flat-out LOVE the idea of Lailah being so gd confident in her abilities (because she EARNED that confidence, damn it, she’s been alive for centuries!!) that she and Zaveid are probably similar in that way; they’re both confident but not arrogant (though Zaveid might be... arrogant, yeah, but not about his powers). so armatizing with Zaveid is similar, but not quite the same, because Lailah is humble about her confidence (if that makes any sense) -- Zaveid’s more like “HELL YEAH I’M CONFIDENT”
