“Yeah, Rose bud, it hurts when you poke my cheek. A lot, actually.” Hell, it hurt when he opened his mouth too wide when talking, so he was pretty stuck at a few notches above a mumble until it healed up and didn’t hurt anymore.“And no, I can’t see you on the side with my eye covered.” 

He huffs a laugh at that last question, and reaches into his pocket, like he’s getting something, before holding up that hand in a fist, gently touching it to her nose. He pulls his hand back a second later, and grins as he spread his fingers to show her his empty palm “There, gave you your nose back.”

Naminé spotted someone she hadn’t seen in a while. “Hello there!” she called, waving. “How have you been? I haven’t seen you in a long time!”

Screams at for no reason.

There’s actually plenty of reason to scream when encountering Guardian, so it is used to this by now.  Humans are strange and loud.  Screaming usually means either threat or prey though, so it is going to try and grab her.

Yet again, it seems like Braig’s idea of looking after Rose was to let her stay up watching trashy late-night movies and encouraging her to mimic the “best” lines.

Wouldn’t want to trip and accidently spill a very hot drink on the brat.

Names

Give me a word, and I’ll write a headcanon for it

Names, or well nicknames, are a way for Xigbar to show how he feels about other people. Be they names like Flamsilocks for Axel (which is his way of saying he’s stupid, young and a fire hazard) or Sparky for Larxine (fiesty, small, and dangerous) - all the way to the recent addition of Cupcake for @thegaleandlance (born entirely out of the desire to annoy him). Nicknames that are a part of the persons actual name are as close to a sign of respect as he gets, like calling @thedemonkingganon by Dorf.

You know, Ienzo probably shouldn’t be amused by this. But he’s certainly not concerned when he notices Rose’s frustration, canting his head to one side as he watches her. “Cat got your tongue?” It’s a terrible joke, especially when he doesn’t know what led to this predicament, but he can’t help it.

Baby Rose: "Hey Lourd? What happened to your parents?" Someone has finally figured out that cousins do not equal siblings.

Prince Lourd shrugged.

“I have no idea,” he said. “Uncle took me in when I was just a baby.”
