Michael Jordan study. For this oil study I used cheaper paints and that immediately affected the painting process in a bad way. The pigments were less powerful but even more the paint was too oily. Because of that i had to keep repainting areas that were too transparent. I just thought I’d post it anyway, because I loved the experiment anyway. What I love about this painting is that I never painted something other than shapes of color. Hard or doft edged. They are not even in the right place for an actual depiction of Michael Jordan, but there’s enough there for us to see what it represents.
