“On a clear night like this, I feel as if I don’t have to worry about anything,” Sirius said solemnly, as Rouge approached him up on the top of the hill. He had his telescope set out, and he also carried with him a smaller hand-held one, so he could lie down on the grass and watch the stars. Under the soft glow of the night sky, he felt no pressure to be overtly rude or dishonest.
He could breathe.
“How did you find me here? I didn’t tell anyone I would be out tonight.”
