The Search Never Ends || Zoe & Karl
Starter for @rosestallion
This far into her search for Rosemary, Zoe had seen more places than she could name. Sometimes, when new clues wouldn't come from anywhere, she questioned if it was worth it, if they'd ever find Rose, if the girl was even still alive_ but her gut told her she was, and she'd swore the moment she found out about Ethan's demise that she wouldn't stop until she found her, no matter how long it took.
So she'd joined Chris in the search and, eventually, following him around the globe turned into them going separate ways, following different clues and promising to keep the other updated. If Zoe was being honest, she was supposed to call him two days ago, it'd been her deadline for searching this place: a town with just enough population to not be a village, and finding results. But just like it told her Rose was alive, her gut told her to wait just a little longer, to ask the locals.
Zoe was currently making her way through the street market full of people, buying supplies, asking questions, and showing a picture of Miranda to those who were patient enough to give more than curt answers.
She was about to make her way towards the stands across the street when another body crashed into hers. Her first instinct was to grab the other by the arm– being from Louisiana, Zoe was no stranger to people using busy streets and the excuse of running into others to rob them. Zoe then realized it was a girl that'd run into her.
"Gotta watch where you're goin', kiddo," she said, her brows furrowing at the look on the girl's face. "You alright?"
