      “ what d’you think? pretty impressive, right?   not to brag or anything, but i built it pretty much all by myself. ”     lie. complete lie --- if anything, massimo had done most of the work on the bunk-bed, but that didn’t mean that alberto wouldn’t take the credit if he could. massimo was hardly likely to boast about it, after all. it would be their first summer together sharing a room, and.. though alberto had initially offered to sleep back on the hideout to give giulia her room back, she had basically called him every version of idiot she possibly could, until he and massimo came up with.. this! 

     if they had to share a room, this seemed like a pretty good compromise.
