do u know any ambulatory wheelchair user characters? in movies, tv shows or books. i can't come up with anyone!!

The first and probably only character that comes to my mind is Rosie Lyons from the TV show Years and Years. She is played by Ruth Madeley who is also disabled and it's overall a great show.

Why is Years and Years just going under the radar?? Like no one on tumblr is paying attention to it at all??

If you want a show that has TWO gay relationships that are Normalised, a trans girl who is fully accepted in her family, an actor with a wheelchair as representation, and a biracial, bicultural family you HAVE to watch Years and Years. AND it deals with how democracy is going to change as technology advances in a completely realistic (and terrifying) way. PLEASE PLEASE WATCH YEARS AND YEARS!!!!
