it might be surprising to some, but when thanatos isn’t playing his role of the reaper & the death deity and when he doesn’t have his nose buried in different genres of literature, he’s behaving like a human being; eating, sleeping ... doing grocery shopping. he steps into his apartment without making a single sound ------ there’s nothing that announces his arrival, which might frighten whoever’s in the kitchen. ❛ i went to at least six stores & i couldn’t find mint chocolate chip ice cream a n y w h e r e. ❜ he mutters, visibly annoyed because he doesn’t have his favourite treat, and starts neatly putting the groceries into the fridge. still, he’s eerily calm, humming an ancient greek song, and opens a bag of chips once he’s done. the god has unexpectedly taken a liking to human food. ❛ anyone made anything for dinner ?? i’m starving. ❜ he raises his eyebrows at the other redhead, his hip leaning against the counter. he’s being uncharacteristically friendly.
