I finally finished sorting all of the Scorose fics I have found throughout the web and technically this isn't even all of the ones I've seen recommended. But for now here it is.

Also, I am in the process of transferring this list and some of my other lists into a spreadsheet (I have found it easier to organize the fics that way and any other info about them). Though, for now, since I have finally sorted all of these Scorose fics into categories, I am just going to post this list for now.

Best Scorose Tropes in Fanfiction

1. Rose inheriting Ron’s personality rather than Hermione’s - Rose would be a Quidditch badass who has a sarcastic and witty sense of humor. She would love the Chudley Cannons (and Holyhead Harpies) and would inherit Ron’s arachnobia. Not only that but she would be affectionate, social, protective, hot-tempered and loyal. She inherited Hermione’s perfectionist nature, intelligence, curiosity, work ethic, ruthlessness and sense of justice.

2. Scorpius demonstrating Slytherin traits whilst still being a kind and good person (same with Al) - I hate it when fanfictions paint him as a bad boy who acts like a bully. I think he would possess pride, cunning, ambition, resourcefulness and leadership while being guarded. Despite all this, he is a gentleman who possesses kindness, maturity, loyalty and bravery <3

3. Rose and Scorpius playing Quidditch - I love the idea that both of them play Quidditch! For some reason, it allows banter, adrenaline and comedy between the two. Also, can we appreciate these badasses kicking ass in the Quidditch field? Yes please!

4. The Weasley/Potter clan being present - They make the whole situation so much more enlightening. I love the idea of the clan being super close and Scorpius becoming a part of them. Their different personalities and dynamics are awesome if they are done well.

5. Scorpius and Rose having banter - Instead of them having a toxic relationship filled with insults and violence, it is nice to see them having banter instead. It makes their interactions witty and hilarious. I bet they have friendly banter, even if they are competitive towards each other.

6. From best friends to lovers - Scorose would be constantly cuddling and sleeping next to each other. Rose being extremely affectionate with Scorpius. Scorpius would instantly get jealous whenever a guy flirts with Rose, and tells himself that they are brotherly feelings. People literally betting when they are going to get together. The list goes on...

7. Ron and Draco interacting - I mean, can you imagine Ron’s reaction when he hears Rose dating a Malfoy? Let alone when they get married? I know that the majority of the fandom prefers Scorpius with Albus, but even Scorbus fans would pay to see Ron’s reaction. Not to mention Ron and Draco being put in a room together at various family events. Priceless.

8. The fanfiction having NOTHING to do with The Cursed Child - Anything that refers to tcc as canon makes my blood boil! As long as the fanfiction ignores the events from the Cursed Child, it is already a good fanfiction.

9. Rose being the flirty and forward one and Scorpius being the shy and subtle one - Most fanfictions out there have Scorpius seducing Rose. However, I love fanfictions that pull the reverse card and make Rose do the first move. It would be very bold of Rose as she is in Gryffindor after all.

10. Rose and Scorpius having other interests and hobbies - I mean I love it when they are together! But I love it more when Rose and Scorpius are well-rounded and interesting! They would have goals and ambitions other than marrying each other! As all couples should.
