mixed signals. you are the king of them. let me paint the picture. you, me, and our friends on top of a mountains just after sunset. the most expensive pot in town being passed around our circle. i turn it down, and you understand. 20 minutes later your earth is spinning and you have a content smile on your lips. the high makes you an exaggerated version of yourself. you sit beside me, leg pressed against leg, shoulder pressed against shoulder. there is planty of room to sit yet you practically sat on my lap. laughing. talking. smiling at me. i stand up on our ‘bench’ of sorts. you follow me up, slapping my as in the process. i laugh. you stare at me and pinch my sides  making me giggle. i fake pushing you off and you pull me into a hug. holding tight. “i love you” “aw i love you too” you hold on longer. our friends send us glances. we hop down. you make jokes about me and laugh. “we always do this. you’re the only person who can trade jokes back and forth” I walk down the mountain with another boy. halfway down you notice. leaving the others in the dark you cut in. at the house, we get pizza. “wow. you have amazing eyes. i never knew” i blush. in the dark we watch lsd videos. you cuddle up next to me. your head on my shoulder. my boob. my lap. we laugh at the dumb videos. you hug me as i leave. saying those 3 words that mean almost as much as ‘i love you’
