this is probably a silly question but can NaNo be used for fanfiction?

NaNo can be used for anything! The website is set up specifically to count words on a “novel” but a lot of writers (myself included) use it for a variety of things. For instance, my “novel” for this year is an Other genre with the title Various Writing and Editing. 

You can use it for whatever writing or editing you personally feel you want to set goals in, whether that’s original fiction, fanfiction, character pages, screenplays you name it.

If you’re working with anything related to a story in any way, you’re in :)

Hello! I am sorry to tell you this, but I must drop Burnet as a character. While I love her, my plate is just too full to write for her and Lance at the same time. I feel more of a pull to my Lance muse, so that means I must let go of Burnet. Again, I am sorry for this, but I think it is best for everyone involved.

It’s quite all right, friend. We’re sorry to see Burnet go, but you have to do what’s best for you and your time constraints. We definitely agree that this is the right choice for you. We’re glad to see that you’ve got enthusiasm for that caped champ of ours, and we look forward to seeing more of him around. Thank you for playing Burnet while you did!
