I am donating one of the best cocktail parties ever to the Rotary auction - ‘Oysters, Arts & Adventures’ this year. I needed a good photo to represent the ‘adventure’ - so I grabbed some old books, Juan at @shelburnehotel mixed up a Pisco Sour and Boulevardier - then @mpapawhiskey took amazing photos! Cocktails in the Garden - my donation to beachrotary.org auction. This is going to be a fun party! Cocktails in the Garden Every great drink starts with a plant! You and five guests will learn the drunken botanist secrets as we create signature cocktails from cultivated ingredients. Celebrate summer by joining cocktail expert, Nansen Malin, in her garden as we explore which plants are most commonly transformed into spirits. Part history lesson, part botany class with a dash of recipe suggestions, Nansen will create special cocktail tastings from her internationally sourced liquor cabinet. Each made with just picked fresh herbs, fruit and vegetables as flavorings and garnishes. The aromas await you! The setting is on the grounds of the Malin’s historic Seaview home. We will serve tasty accompanying bites from the garden, be entertained by the family chickens watching from their Seaview Depot coop, and enjoy fresh oysters, clams and smoked meats off the BBQ. #cocktails #garden #summer #rotary #rotaryauction
