okay for tau: 13-15, 18-23, and 25 >:3c
Rotermelon: and 3 bc i forgot
Thank you so much for sending me this, I had a lot of fun thinking about all these scenarios!!
3: their greatest achievement
Tau would consider building himself a happy healthy family his all time greatest achievement.
13: their embarrassing memory from years ago
One time Tau was shaking a drink or something at work when he spotted one of his rivals staring him down, and just as he noticed them his hand slipped and vibrantly coloured alcohol flew everywhere including Tau’s face and (god forbid) his hair. He probably still has nightmares about it.
14: how they react to burning their tongue on food
He would probably just swear, not too loudly or anything though. Then he’d just accept his fate and keep eating.
15: how they react to a brainfreeze
He probably enjoys it to an extent tbh, if only because it’s part of the ice cream experience. He doesn’t intentionally try to get brainfreeze or anything though.
18: how they sleep
When Tau’s alone he likes to sleep stretched out on his back in his underwear, but usually wakes up kind of curled up on his side. If he’s with Keegan Tau tries to accommodate him and cuddle and stuff, so he’s usually on his side or gets kicked onto the floor. He never really thrashes about or anything though, he occasionally talks in his sleep.
19: their reaction to betrayal
Since Tau has a lot more experience being the betrayer rather than the victim, he would probably try to be accepting despite his true feelings and convince himself that he deserves it.
20: their reaction to a mystery love letter
He’d just throw it out unless he suspected it was from Keegan. He’s generally not really interested in people who wouldn’t approach him directly.
21: how they react to pain
Tau tries to rationalize emotional pain by, again, convincing himself that he deserves it somehow. Physical pain gives him certainty of what he needs to do and he finds general reassurance in that; however, he also recognizes its many negative impacts as well. Since Tau is rather used to physical pain, he has a pretty high tolerance and will sometimes overestimate his ability to take care of himself when he needs medical aid.
22: what they’re like on two hours of sleep
Somewhat more irritable than usual and has slower reflexes, but most people wouldn’t recognize the difference otherwise. He would take even longer than usual getting ready in the bathroom.
23: how they act when they’re sick
When Tau gets sick, the war between his strong sense of independence and his desire for attention gets even more intense. He will initially deny needing help, or even being sick in the first place, but if someone is persistent enough he will give in completely and let them take care of him.
25: why you enjoy them
Tau is a character that I have had so much fun developing because he is so vastly different from myself, yet I still manage to empathize with him in certain scenarios. I love him because he somehow manages to contrast with himself in so many ways, and he almost seems to grow on his own. I love how Keegan has helped him grow and how Tau changes and adapts over his lifetime. I love Tau’s physical design, and I love how he has helped me further understand how I like to create characters. There are so many reasons Tau is special to me.
