ROTG Tea Party Game Round 6 Answer
“It has to be the chilled hot chocolate and butter tart,” Jack declared as he went over to his chosen cup. He took a sip and ate a small piece of the tart. As his body started to rapidly grow in size, Jack let out a happy cry as he landed in front of the others. “Yes! We win!”
Before anyone else could say anything, the Mad Hatter suddenly appeared hanging upside from a tree branch. “Hee! Hee! Yes, congratulations! Congratulations!” he cried as he held onto his hat and swung from the branch. “What, a fantastic game this has been!” He jumped off the branch and landed on the ground. “Shall we play another?”
Pitch’s eye twitched. “Hatter, if you even think of putting me through this humiliation again, I will happily tear you-”
Pitch was cut off as North stepped forward. “As fun as this had been Hatter, we need to go home.”
“Yeah, the kids will be worrying about us,” Jack said and he gave a grin. “Although, I have to admit it was actually fun.”
“Very well,” the Hatter said, “perhaps next time, we can play Go Bird?”
Jack raised an eyebrow. “Don’t you mean Go Fish?”
“What? Course not,” Hatter exclaimed looking baffled. “What kind of game would Go Fish be?”
Jack wanted to ask further, but Tooth touched his shoulder. “Just leave it,” she said, gently.
The winter sprite went quiet as the Hatter raised his hands. “Farewell, everyone! Let’s have another game soon!” He clapped his hands and just as fast as before, a large tunnel appeared beneath them. With startled cries the Guardians and Pitch dropped into the tunnel.
Hatter sighed happily as he watched them fall. “Well, that was a fun game,” he snapped his fingers. “I think it’s time for a cup of tea!” The Hatter giggled as he reached into his hat to pull out a teapot.

Jamie poked at his slice of cake as he looked back at the spot where the Guardians had vanished. “Maybe we should do a rescue mission?”
“How would we do that?” Monty asked. “We don’t even know where they went.”
“They might need help though,” Cupcake said as she punched a hand into her fist. “I say, if we don’t see them in another hour, we make a plan.”
Jamie opened his mouth to respond, but suddenly a hole appeared and all the Guardians popped out and dropped on the ground. “Never thought I say this,” Jack said as he climbed to his feet, “but I like Bunny’s tunnels better.”
“Jack!” Jamie cried as he rushed over to give him a hug. “You’re okay! What happened-”
“AHH!! Pitch!” Claude cried.
Jamie turned his head and became still as Pitch rose to his feet. The children huddled closer together as Pitch looked them over.
“Pitch,” Tooth warned as her eyes narrowed. “Don’t even think-”
“Relax,” Pitch said in a dry toned. “I am too tired to even say ‘Boo’ so I am quite happy to leave.” He approached the tree and glance back at the Guardians. “And let’s agree to try to not do this again in the future.”
The Guardians said nothing as Pitch sunk into his shadows. The children’s jaws dropped and Cupcake was the first to speak. “Okay, what happened that caused Pitch to get involved?”
“Where’s Hatter?” Sophie asked as she climbed into Bunny’s lap.
Jack laughed as he pulled up a chair. “Gather around kids, we got a story to tell.”
The children took seats with smiles on their faces. This was a definitely a birthday party no one was going to forget for a long time.
