Sakura synth --> Cherry Blossom --> Tree Spirit --> Kodama. That's how this tune got its name. All the sounds in this piece, outside of the percussion, are from the Sakura. Actually, some of those percussive sounds come from Sakura, too. Sometimes I simply have to make a new song. I'm only surprised I managed to hold out this long. Oh, and I highly recommend sticking around for the reincarnation of the tree spirit after the five minute marker. ~_~
" Can you? Can you hear 'em listening? to how we're feeling? Can you feel 'em looking? without turning or existing? You can. [I can't. ] [I can.] You can hear 'em listening to how we're feeling. You can feel 'em looking without turning or existing. " These are the lyrics to this song, basically. I wrote this song eons ago while teaching Music Production 101 at a private institution. To be honest, I can't ... remember what lesson it was to demonstrate at the moment ... or if it was meant to do so at all. = = \/ >~~^~~< _0_ That's an upside down entity with its mouth open in astonishment at the above statement. ~_~ Anyways... it has ALWAYS been one of my favorite productions. Beautiful. Mysterious. Cool. Not to ruin it for anyone, but one of the things I imagined while writing this piece were robots gaining sentience in a room being observed by their creators. Of course, therefore, the robots are communicating to one another about their sense that someone seems to be watching them. And, as I imagine it, they are doing this communication in a robotic variation of telepathy...something I imagined they developed without their creator's intent or awareness. So yah...that's one of the things running through my head when I hear this one. What might run through yours, I wonder? Oh...and have a happy Halloween!!! !@_@!
"There's Something New in The Void": this song. Yah. It's cool. It's long. It takes its sweet time coming from oblivion, rockin' it hard depth core style, and returning to the emptiness. ~_~ This here tune is dedicated to all those other creative souls out there, who pour their hearts out, try to share their truly remarkable creations and discoveries with the world via these here internets...only to have them get lost in the void...rarely heard by another soul. So, here's to singing your beautiful songs deep into that abyss of nothingness anyway. Cheers.
Boom, boom, boom. Bounce, bounce, bounce. Groovin' tunin'. Dustin' off another relic of freakin' AWESOMENESS! ~_~ lol. But yah...this here is another tune I produced in the before times...when I was teaching the music production course I created. This 'ne here is a tune which sprouted from a demonstration of different...yes, yes...you guessed it: subdivisions! Yayyy! !~_~! Beyond that...this is a super massive and extremely beautiful overwhelming musical experience. I dare ya to play it on full blast, chill'ens!
Oh my goodness, mahn. I freaking love this song, mahn. ~_~ But really...another tune I've been selfishly hoarding to myself and the select few around me for many years...is finally available for all of your collective listening pleasures. lol. But seriously...yah. Let's see...I made this tune, like, freakin' YONKS ago! It's been an all time classic in my life for a while now therefore...I hope it becomes as much or more for you. If you're interested, it so happens to be another tune I created for the sake of the Music Production course I created and taught over at a private institution of my past. This one proudly wields the circle of fourths in its beauteous bass line and a fast forward version in the magical arpeggiation that occurs ever so infrequently. Interesting note: the bass drum in this piece became a staple of many a tune to come after it for some time... . It also appears in the so called "bD Toms" which color the rhythmic bounce of the tune. Anyways...it's pretty much an anthem for us daydreamers and even complete and total...spacers.
There's something genuinely awesome about digging through your ancient music files and finding gems which you then realize just HAVE to be shared! This is one of them gems! Subtle differences between this "Mastered and Spaced" mix and the original mix on BASSIC LAHJIC can be found to by the astute listener...but most of all...the feel is truly ... spaced. ~_~
Incredible mind blowing bass about 2 minutes in. Yah, it's like that. Feel the intro before it hits ya. It's another classic collaboration between myself and the A.K.A. Frankly, I can't get this bass line out of my head. It's one of those tunes you want to play on repeat for hours!!! Check it out. ~_~
