What are your expectations for the rest of the season?

As production has been shut down, we won’t have a proper season finale. It’s sad, but the cast and crew’s health is the most important. I don’t know how they’ll manage to end the season without 2 episodes. However, they managed to add 9 to a story of 13 that was already written, so I know they’ll figure this out.

The fact that this season has kind of been made in two parts makes it a little complicated to wonder what comes after the initial 13 episodes.

Here are some of my hopes:

-I hope the bickering between Mac and Desi will quickly stop and that they’ll be able to work together. A man and a woman can be co-workers without getting romantically involved with each other. Plus, Mac going back and forth feels a little out of character. I mean, he complained for 4 episodes about how they were not right for each other, but still exchanges some ambiguous looks with her🤷🏻‍♀️

-In my opinion, something is definitely going to happen with Riley’s boyfriend. Maybe he’s part of Codex and that’s why the actor hasn’t been on set after the 13th episode. I mean, there has to be a reason why they gave her a boyfriend. It’s tv, no choice is ever innocent haha.

-More of Russ and Mac duo. They work really well together and I love Russ’ addition to the team. He sometimes questions, but never judges. Plus, he definitely brings the humour that was lacking in the second half of season 3.

-I think that Mac discovering that a) he has a living aunt and b) she’s part of Codex is going to shake things up a lot. I find interesting how Mac is starting to learn that everything isn’t black or white.

-I want Mac and Riley’s relationship to be more explored. Whether it leads to a potential romance or just really good friends. They know and trust each other and it’s really enjoyable to watch. Loved when Mac said “here’s something I’ve never told to anyone”. They have this special thing.

-Even though I don’t want it to happen, and if it does I’ll be completely heartbroken, I think something is going to happen to Jack. The bts of the cast dressed really formal, the location, Mac in the military uniform,... Plus, the title of episode 16 (“Jack+Kinematics+MgKNO3+GTO”) makes me worried.

-More family moments.

I'm trying to remember, but honestly, I do not recall Mac sharing a scene with Riley and Billy once they were officially dating. Do you remember one?

I don’t remember one either! I very well could just be forgetting it, but I believe you’re right. I don’t think there were any once Riley and Billy became an item. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong though!
