i think it’s Very Very funny that, of all the shows for antis to flock to, it’s Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

another version of TMNT, which is, and always has been, absolutely full of incest shippers.

like that’s straight up the funniest thing, and it’s even funnier because wow, surprise- some of the people working on said show do, indeed, ship these characters who’ve been shipped for literally forever.

like, really. what did they expect? a huge, GIANT, part of the TMNT fandom ships tcest, and a new version isn’t gonna change that- if anything, i’m pretty sure ROTTMNT’s versions of the turtles just gave shippers way more fodder.

TMNT will always have a huge following of tcest shippers. and honestly? good.

Hey, so I'm brand new to the rottmnt fandom, and i keep seeing things about a specific artist show up regarding t//cest. The only way I'm able to find anything about this is through "rottmnt discourse" and found your post from May (so sorry if this is weird). Do you know who the artists involved are so I can block them? (And also know because if it's the person I'm hearing about then the rottmnt crew still follows them on twitter and that's disappointing.) Sorry this is out of nowhere, and thx

It’s alright, I totally get that. I’m probably not the best person to ask as I’m just a random self proclaimed memelord but there’s like three I can remember who I will lamely censor the names of by adding slashes in the middle so they can’t track me down for busting them lol.

One of them is lule/iya, who I imagine to be the one you’re reffering to in terms of twitter. The other two I remember are hober/menn (who I think deleted their tumblr account) and cartoonsint/hemorning. Maybe someone else can reply with the rest of the names.

Sucks that creators of the show are still following someone who did that, but the most likely reason is that they don’t know about it. I hope this helps at least a little bit.

publishing pornography of children’s media that you’re hired to work on should be an automatic fireable offense. nevermind that the tmnt situation was with underage sibling characters, putting porn of kid’s media on the internet makes that media more unsafe for its intended audience, and that’s true whether you’re a creator of the show or not! children’s content creators need to take some shred of fucking responsibility!

After all the shite that’s happened today, perhaps I need make my stance on t-shit clear. I do not ship it. I will never ship it and I will never support the idea of shipping it. If you do ship it, please reconsider the way you view these sorts of relationships. Seriously, I am genuinely beseeching you to stop. And if you actually draw p*rn of my boys I ain’t fucking around with you anymore. I am telling you with the single ounce of power that I have on here that what you are doing is wrong. It’s more than just fiction. Real people are seeing it. You are a real person who drew it. And you’re going out there interacting with the world with your brain hardwired into liking this shit. You think that’s not going to have any effect on you at all? It doesn’t matter how confident you are that it won’t. No-one is above their own psychology. Now I’m not writing this with any intention to be rude. In fact I’m writing this with the naive assumption that the people who are doing this don’t know how bad it is. If you do know how bad it is and you still do it, I don't even have the words for you. Except that it’s not too late to stop. And you really really should stop.
