hm ive said this a lot but 1. yes this is a very intrusive question. i work with children, yall should not be trying to figure out my location. 2. if you think 100% that you know where i work. just dm me or smth. ‘hey do u work at camp x bc i worked there’ and i’ll say yes or no. but by and large im uncomfortable with just straight up asking me to disclose my job

Hey guys!! this is asking a lot but my twin and I are getting psychiatric service dogs and there’s just no way my family can handle the cost. If you could please share or donate if you can (at least reblog, please), it would mean a lot to me. I explain a bit on the fundraising page what the dog is specifically for if you’d like to know more.
I’ll give a short version here:
I have PTSD and with that comes dissociative episodes. I dissociate near constantly, enough so that I don’t really realize when it’s happening. The service dog will be trained to pull me out of that with tactile stimulation and grounding.
I also have an undiagnosed mood disorder, depression, and severe anxiety (as well as an eating disorder but w/e right?). The service dog will be trained to remind me to eat, remind me to take my medication, and to wake me up so I don’t sleep all day. It will also be trained to do deep pressure therapy. All of these tasks would be extremely helpful to me and this is why I’m asking for help paying for it. My mom is out of work, my parents are getting divorced, and my dad refuses to help. We just don’t have the money to do this ourselves.
