you know why ladies are against feminism? Because other people are allowed to have opinions of their own, you feminists believe women should be free to express themselves but not if its going against you?
I know people are allowed to have opinions of their own. Feminists believe that women and men are and should be treated as equals. I am completely against sexism for men and women. I know that men are objectified and stuff too, and I acknowledge that, but it doesn’t happen as frequently as it does for women. I’m not saying that it isn’t as bad because it happens less frequently, because it’s not. There are definitely some bad “feminists” out there who are against men, but that’s not what feminism is supposed to be about. And it has been brought too my attention that the name “feminism” is kind of misleading since feminists are about equality for all and not about wanting to be above men. It’s wrong for people to think that women are incapable of certain things just because of their gender. I know there are some disadvantages to being a woman because of the way we are built, but there are disadvantages for men too. The reason I made that post is because of what is written on that website, not because those women are against feminism. I read through it briefly and noted that they are assuming that everyone believes in God, which is absolutely ridiculous. I didn’t post that because they are against feminism, it’s just that they are against it for the wrong reasons, and they are not seeing the side of feminism that isn’t radical. They are only paying attention to the feminists who have been mislead and are taking it to the extreme. I’m not upset with them because their opinion is against mine, I’m upset about the things that they say about how they see feminism.
