One such as a Radio Demon, tied to a wheely chair backstage.
To Alastor's greatest chagrin, Lucifer's voice becomes a fixation he could not escape if he tried.
And he very much does try.
✨ Chapter 20: THE HAZBIN HOTEL: Home ✨
Chapter 20 of Seven Rings, Seven Rivals, is now up!
I’ll already be meeting plenty of sinners, here at the hotel. The wood in the fireplace crackles gently, off to the side, causing most of the shadows at their feet to dance and flicker. Most, because Alastor’s shadow has remained firmly draped over the back of Lucifer’s chair, on the other side of the coffee table. As if it deemed that Lucifer was the one who needed more support during this emotionally taxing conversation. Traitor. There’s no other support for Alastor to count on. There’s nothing for him to do but trust that Lucifer will respond truthfully to Alastor’s next questions – and endure the fallout if Alastor does not like his answers.
After fighting their way through 7 Rings and a difficult conversation, Alastor and Lucifer finally reach the end of their journey. So, what really is it all about - the journey, or the destination?

As is now routine, Lucifer hops onto the bar stool next to Alastor’s, only to pretend to ignore him while he orders his usual apple based drink, complete with the puerile crazy straw Husker always gives him. Pretend. Alastor has a theory now – and it’s time to put it to the test.
A whole lot of talking (a pretty vital tenet to voice kink), an impatient shadow, and an Alastor way out of his depth. It's a long one, get comfortable ♥️
✨ Chapter 21: (Bonus Chapter) Lucifer's Room ✨
The bonus and final FINAL chapter of Seven Rings, Seven Rivals has been posted!
Alastor takes a deep breath, and knocks on Lucifer’s door. It does not take much reflecting to conclude that dinner could have gone smoother. Alastor paid the weight of Angel Dust’s gaze no mind; and while Vaggie and Husker clearly found the contents of their plates to be positively riveting, which was fine by Alastor, it did make for nothing but eloquent silence at their end of the table. The issue came from the Morningstar side of the room (surprise, surprise), as Charlie, blissfully unaware of everyone else’s attitudes around her, gently prodded at Lucifer for answers about the past week. Which Lucifer and Alastor had somehow forgotten to fit into their already protracted conversation earlier that evening.
Alastor comes to find Lucifer after dinner. They've done enough talking ♥️

💘 Heart and Soul: Chapter 6 🪔
The final chapter is up!
It’s like Mount Olympus itself is reluctant for a being as insignificant as Alastor to be here. The sand under his feet provides him with no grip, the climb proving slippery to him in a way it isn’t to Charlie. Stones roll out from under him, forcing him to take small steps to keep his balance. But his resolve is not weakened in the slightest – he clenches his jaw and plows onwards, determined to keep pace with the young Goddess. And then, finally, after one more desperate scramble over a pile of rocks determined to trap his ankle – a silhouette of white marble, cut with meticulously carved lines and arches that stand in stark contrast to the untamed geometries of the mountainside, comes into sight. A palace. One so very similar to the one Alastor left behind not three days ago, in colours and patterns – but much taller, and built to curve around Mount Olympus, following its slopes, likely carved deep into its flanks beyond what his eyes can see from the outside.
Alastor is very nearly there - an eerily familiar palace, siblings more or less aware of the truth of the punishments, and a fiancé behind closed doors. Welcome to the end of Heart & Soul!

His fiance treats him well, all things considered, appearing in the evening to keep Alastor company at night, and vanishing at dawn. Following their success in the battle against Heaven, the Hazbin Hotel draws the attention of all, making it the new place to be – including the Hellborn, who cannot resist a visit to the home of the Princess of Hell, now a symbol of Hell’s momentary superiority over Heaven.
But the star hotels of the other Rings aren’t used to competition from Pride, and in the months that follow, try to interfere with its success.
At her wit’s end, Charlie calls upon her father again, and he agrees to ensure the harassment of the Hazbin ceases, by giving the meddlesome rivals a taste of their own medicine.
What’s this, a chance to be spiteful and petty for a revenge tour across Hell? Alastor is all in.

✨ Chapter 19: THE HAZBIN HOTEL: The Apple Tower ✨
Chapter 19 of Seven Rings, Seven Rivals, is now up!
A couple of papers in the middle of the desk draw Alastor’s attention. This would have been what Lucifer was looking at before he went looking for Alastor (his heart gives a dull thud at the thought – Lucifer sought him out, too). Strangely, they do not appear to form a set of cohesive documents. Each sheet of paper is covered in a different handwriting scrawled under different styles of letterheads. Might civilians be petitioning their ruler? But something niggles at the back of Alastor’s mind. There’s something about the colours of the letter papers, they’re all vivid and harmonise in a way that feels remarkably familiar and yet – ah. “Were the Sins unhappy you did not stop by to greet them, your Majesty?”
It's time to talk - both Alastor & Lucifer know it. A more serious chapter, although they do find plenty of ways of delaying the inevitable (big surprise). Welcome to the penultimate chapter of 7 Rings!
