Single parent d16 au ♥️ Her name is Rough Chip. Their carrier vanished some time after they emerged leaving d16 with everything to pick up. He thinks Orion is a bad influence on her.
She gains cyan as apart of her colour scheme when cogged : )
Rough Chip ! Megatron's sparkling I draw for funnn. She's basically an electric pufferfish
Finally got a design down for Megatron's sparkling :D she gets locked up for a while due to bias, and fear she'd turn out like Megatron
I want to ramble more about single father D-16 and Chip.
He works really hard just so that his sparkling doesn't have to endure the danger he does, and Chip can persue the sciences like she wants to, especially when she's just starting out in the world and is small.
Chip is super infatuated with becoming a tech, or engineer or even inventor. But d-16 pushes her towards being a medic because it's more realistic. (in tfp & TFA she goes down the medic route for a bit before standing up for herself and that she wants to actually build things not just be support)
D-16 dreads having her end up in the mines. Whilst good old law breaking uncle Orion is always pushing her to chase her dream no matter what and giving her new little trinkets and such to tinker with, using tools D-16 probably salvaged or built, and ones Orion probably stole from the mines..
For her alt mode? Something a speedboat maybe. Like a rescue boat, or rescue helicopter but maybe she scans something else after finding her new path as a scientist
I'd definitely say her weapon would be a sniper rifle. And D-16 definitely cried tears of joy when she got her cog even if the moment is somber in that he is banned from iacon with he rest of the cons.
I'm not sure if she'd get radicalized like D-16 was during the events of TFone, but I think she'd definitely be upset seeing what he turned into whether or not she ended up going with him. I think it would just be upsetting to see such darkness bore into your sire's eyes.
I think if she went with Optimus he would encourage her scientific capability, whilst going with Megatron her medic role and her role as a sniper/gunner as a soldier would be pushed on her a lot heavier for 'the greater cause'
