Title: Mistletoe by Wun Two 636 words

Swirling a glass of rum between his fingers, Rodrigo surveyed the other patrons of the bar he had decided to stop at for the evening. It was crowded, not so much that it made him uncomfortable, but just enough that he could envision getting lost in it with his arm around someone’s waist. He only had to find that someone, first.

It didn’t take long for his eyes to catch on a man with short, pink hair from across the room, and he was immediately rewarded by catching his dark eyes on him as well. He cocked his head slightly towards the man, he raised an eyebrow in return, and Rodrigo smirked. Throwing back the rest of his drink, he left the glass on the bar top and weaved through the rest of the crowd to meet this potential someone.

As he got closer, he could fully appreciate exactly how attractive the stranger was, from the piercing in his eyebrow to the curves of his muscles—of which there were plenty for Rodrigo to fantasize over—and the warmth in his eyes as they looked him over.

He was holding a glass of something green, and as Rodrigo leaned against the wall next to him, he took the glass from the man’s hand, taking a sip. He guessed it was absinthe, which wasn’t his personal favorite, but it was good, and the pink blush that colored the man’s ears as he watched Rodrigo drink made it taste even better.

“What’s your name, doll?” He asked, holding the man’s drink just out of reach.

“Roul,” came his reply, and Rodrigo said it back to him, letting it roll over his tongue as he took another sip. “What’s yours?”

“Rodrigo. Though, ‘captain’ works too, whatever a pretty thing like yourself prefers.” He grinned as he watched the tips of Roul’s ears burn a little darker. “Say, you didn’t happen to stand here on purpose, did you?”

“What do you mean?”

Eyes glinting mischievously, Rodrigo pointed upwards with his chin, at a bundle of mistletoe hanging above their heads. “I mean, you didn’t just happen to stand under this lovely bunch of leaves knowing exactly what I might do to you, on purpose, right?”

Though Roul was still blushing, a smirk tugged at his lips. “What if I did?”

“Well, then I would have to kiss you.” Rodrigo mirrored his smirk. “To follow tradition, of course.”

“Funny, you don’t seem like the kind of person who cares for tradition.”

Rodrigo laughed at that, taking a step forward to press his leg between Roul’s. “Normally, you’d be right. But I do have exceptions.”

“Do it, then,” Roul said, not dropping his gaze from Rodrigo’s. “For tradition.”

“Don’t mind if I do,” Rodrigo said, voice dropping into a purr as he closed the distance between them. The first kiss was a bit softer than he usually went for, but when Roul pushed back, his hands coming up to Rodrigo’s shoulders, Rodrigo took the opportunity to kiss him again, and much more intensely. Without breaking away, Rodrigo set Roul’s glass on a close table, and pressed him up against the wall, his hands resting on the shorter man’s hips, fingers digging into his skin.

Rodrigo bit down on Roul’s lip, and when he opened his mouth in a gasp, Rodrigo took advantage to slip his tongue inside. He tilted Roul’s head back, allowing him to kiss even deeper, and his hands started to creep lower, resting on Roul’s ass and giving it a quick squeeze. Roul pulled back slightly at that, his face burning, and Rodrigo grinned.

“I don’t suppose you’d want to take this… elsewhere, would you?”

When Roul nodded, mirroring Rodrigo’s grin back at him, Rodrigo kissed him once more before stepping back, his arm looping around Roul’s waist.

“Perfect.”

Hear me out. Each of the vestiges, when their quirks are used/ passed on to Izuku, also give some random skill. OFA could play piano and do perfect eyeliner. The morning after he gets the quirk Izuku does his eyeliner while half asleep and doesn't realize it for like 4 hours. He also wonders why he wants to play Bach.

Izuku does some crazy shit that takes a lot of skill

1-A: how cool! How long have you been practicing that?

Izuku: oh I never did it before today, sometimes my new quirks come with unrelated talents. I also am fluent in Italian and hula hoop for 45 minutes without stopping.
