RECAP: RoundTable Records Celebrates One Year Anniversary
This past weekend our friends at RoundTable Records celebrated their one year anniversary with Summer Knights, an evening showcasing some of New York City’s best talent! The Express Ur Freedom Gallery in Queens, NY was packed with an expressive art installation and talented musicians. In addition to RoundTable’s roster (CEO - King Jules, Brian Jay and Kaydilluh), the performance line-up featured, Devy Day, Tehillah Michelle and Drigo. 久無動作的 Roundtable Records 有了新消息（The History Of Apple Pie/Bos Angeles 的家），將為 Society (目前僅知來自倫敦) 發行單曲 “All That We've Become”，好玩的是此曲不走 lo-fi，而是'60s/'70s迷幻帶點 downtempo，已有人很厲害地指出取樣背景來自於 Zero 7 歌曲 Somersault（Zero 7 取樣誰就不知了），另外被 The Horrors 點名也是話題焦點，而 Andy Baker 執導黑白動畫更別錯過。

Attempting to find much information about London's Society is rather frustrating. The band?/artist?/DJ? has little more out there beyond a nondescript Soundcloud page, an apparent connection to Roundtable Records and one of the least searchable names you can imagine. But if Andy Baker's outstanding pen and pencil animation for "All That We've Become" is a sign of what we can come to expect from this mysterious entity, I have a feeling that we will all feel very familiar with Society much sooner than later.
