Yells of, “ I think he went this way! ” cut her short and sent her mind into a panic. When she had a vision of someone being in trouble in the middle of the woods, Paige assumed that someone would be lost, not running for his life from a gaggle of hunters. Perhaps going against her mother’s word hadn’t been the brightest of ideas after all.
The brunette waved her hands at the stranger as if to shoo him away, jumping to her feet and brushing the leaves from her clothing as words shot from her lips.
“ Alright, so, you should probably run now and I’ll just-- I’ll distract them or something, yeah? ”
