Do you ever find a wine in a restaurant, order it, love it, post about it - and then have the winemaker reach out and see if you want to sell it? Okay maybe it only happens to me. 😊 one of the benefits of distributing wine. I first had Muddy Arch Rousanne and their Red Blend by the glass at the fantastic @saltwateroysterdepot restaurant near Point Reyes. This past week we picked up some wines from Chris Leonard to taste and decide if we wanted to add them to our site. We tasted 3 whites and the red blend. All delicious wines - the whites so luscious with deep gold color. 9 months sur lie. Great acidity and lively fruit. Although I liked them all I was particularly enthralled by the Picpoul-driven Fiona’s blend which I hope to have in the site shortly. The Zin- driven red wine was as drinkable and delicious as anything I’ve tasted lately. 44% Zin, 32% Carignane, 24% Petit Verdot. Hoping to have that wine available as well. We’ll let everyone know when the wines are up. Wine club members can expect to see it in their January shipments at our wine club discounted price; everyone else can get it in the web wine store (link in profile). ————————————————————— #muddyarch #leonardwinecompany #rousanne #rhonerangers #napavalley #napa #napavalleywine #napawine #californiawine #californiawines #californiawinecountry #instawine #winestagram https://www.instagram.com/p/CItN-hCnWD6/?igshid=1in4kzwdzpv3q
