pineapple is the snack that eats you back!
thats a joke. mostly. pineapple is a fruit native to certain tropical regions of earth, at least in most timelines. i presume some timelines/universes dont have pineapple. its sweet-tart, very juicy, and technically has an enzyme that can dissolve human tongues, thus the above joke. despite this, its one of my favorite fruits.
it is also very hard to prepare, as it has a very irregular and tough skin, and a core that is only very technically edible. as a result, most people eat it only as a delicacy when others have been paid to prepare it.
