You ever just find yourself knee-deep into a headcanon/AU/etc. only to discover you’ve been subconsciously projecting the traits of a pokemon you like onto a character?
Have you ever just... thought of something cursed and you know it’s a bad idea, but you go ahead and draw it anyways?

i so very badly desire to show your art to an italian streamer (Cydonia) who is most famous for his pokémon videos and streams but who ALSO had a magnificent time with cassette beasts and considers it one of his fav monster collectors. he loved pmd too so its like perfect. i have no idea how to show it to him without seeming deranged but the intent is there and powerful
aww tysm, this made my week reading this!! I'm not familiar with Cydonia so I'll have to check his videos out! Cassette beasts is such a fun game and it opened my eyes to monster collectors outside of pokemon (like ooblets and beastie ball)!
The pmd brainrot is SO real (rescue team was one of the first games I played independently as a kid, so it has a permanent spot in my heart <3). I don't like playing myself in games, so anytime there's a character creator, I just. Use my pmd hero instead. Straight up pretend it's their prologue before the isekai™. And cassette beasts is no exception al;skdfjdfjks
I have many thoughts on the endings for both games (rescue team on the pmd side), and I am pacing in my enclosure thinking about the comparisons
