Zane Aston Carter and Harley Noel Carter are the literal light of Seth’s life. He’d never understood his own mother’s weakness toward him until he became a father himself. And boy, did it weaken him. Seth had always been a proud man, especially in regards that he had nothing of value to take away from him. There was no one that you could pick up to torture that would make him talk. There was no one he’d pay ransom for until Zane and Harley.
Seth has the kids, together, every other week and that pattern has happened since they were born. While they don’t share a mother, Seth makes sure that the kids get to spend time with each other as siblings. When they were small, it was a bit easier. They’d go to the park and have each other to play with (not just Seth) but now that they are 17 and 14, Seth has had to have one too many talks to them about their fuckin’ phones. He still tries to take them to movies and sporting events, MC-events, and anything else that may come around so they can all bond and enjoy each other’s company.
Zane is looking to join the Trojans when he turns 18, to join his father among the ranks, while Harley doesn’t seem to favor the MCs, especially as she watches her brother dive into the life. Seth is still holding onto hope that both his kids will one day stand with him to carry on his legacy. But until then, he’ll enjoy the bi-weekly pizza dinners and movie with Zane and Harley.

It had been far too long since he’d been able to let loose with Rowan by his side -- The last event he’d gone to that wasn’t hosted by his mother was the Founder’s Festival, and well... Things had been a bit more complicated at that point. The thought brought a smile to his face, considering how far they’d come since then. Moved in together, raising a son... It all brought on the thought of marriage, one that left him staring at the wedding band he kept tucked in his worn out wallet. One he hadn’t worn in five years. It didn’t help that the setting made his heart swell -- The sight of her in a fancy dress, with Benny in her arms practically had him on his knees, still in awe that they had found one another again, that they were living the life they’d nearly missed out on. Now, with Benny having gone with Rhea for a ‘grandma sleepover’, the two were able to let their hair down for the evening. The shots in his hands were evidence enough, a mischievous grin at his lips. “Bottoms up, baby.” He says as he hands one to her. “Bottoms up.”
I KNOW WHEN YOU GO DOWN ALL YOUR DARKEST ROADS ------ i would have followed you all the way to the graveyard

This entire ordeal is bring out things in him that Andy thought he’d buried deep enough to forget. He’d spent the weekend in a haze -- Going from his Ma’s, to the station, back and forth with the hope that each time he’d somehow come back with more information. He knows she’s not being charged on anything, but it doesn’t help the hollow feeling in his chest, the one that has had him laying awake for the past two nights. He’d always been the one getting into trouble -- She’d seen him hauled away by cops, by her own father before. It had never been the opposite, with him watching helplessly as some beat cop escorts her to the back of a car with her hands cuffed behind her back. He’d been held back by another, who kept saying things like Sir, I need you to calm down. As tempting as it would have been to knock the cop out and try to stop them from arresting Rowan, he knew it would only make for more trouble down the road.
So he does his due diligence, by bothering front desk clerks into giving him information (they don’t), and pacing around his Ma’s home while he waits for the forty eight hour timer to finish. It’s a waiting game, as much as he hates to admit it. He spends most of his time in those two days at the police station, or smoking out in front of it -- Consistently being reminded by every cop he encounters that he’s only nine months in to his three year parole. Watch yourself, Thane. Or it’ll be you next time. And in the time he’s not there, he’s at his Ma’s with Benny, working on staying calm for his sons sake. He’d managed to get the paperwork done for he and Rowan’s marriage license as well, thanks to a sleepless night.
By some act of God, he makes it -- Forty eight hours later, and he’s standing in the front lobby of the police station as his fiance is brought out from the holding cell. She’s still in her dress from the auction, her hair disheveled and make up smudged. He clenches his jaw at the sight of it all, wishing he wasn’t on parole, that he could fuck these beat cops up without concern for losing Benny and being sent back to prison. Instead, he holds the clothes he brought her tightly in his hands, white knuckling them as she escorted out. All he wants to do is get her out of here, to get them home and away from this bullshit. The ATF was looking into the clubs, there was no reason for them to bring in Old Ladies. He knew why, though -- It was a scare tactic, reminding both clubs of the power they yield. And if one of them cracked and spilled some information along the way? Well, it’d be their lucky day.
Despite the frustration boiling in him, it softens once she’s in front of him. Rowan always had that effect on Andy, whether she tried to or not -- Just being around her was enough to help weather whatever storm was brewing within him. There’s a half smile that finds his features once she’s there, “Hey, baby.” He begins, immediately pulling her in for a tight hug, kissing the top of her head. Andy knows that this was only something temporary, that they’re going to fine -- But there’s still the creeping feeling that they’d find something on her, or worse, bury her with one of his past wrongdoings. His mind goes to every worst case scenario, terrified that now that they were in a good place, that they were going to be married again -- That fate decided they had enough, and it was time to balance the scales once more. “I brought you some clothes,” he begins again, keeping an arm around her shoulders. It’s not much -- A pair of jeans and one of his old shirts she likes to sleep in. He kicks himself for forgetting to bring a pair of shoes, too. “Figured you’re gettin’ tired of seein’ green.”
