“Has anyone ever told you that your face doesn’t match your personality? You seem so graceful and beautiful until you open your mouth.” Rowaelin OBVS
Another tag team by @tacmc and myself! A fabulous prompt from @highqueenofelfhame that started as one thing and ended up as smut. Oops. 🤷🏽♀️🙃😅
Aelin stared at the reflection of herself in the empty room full of mirrors. Her hair was pulled back into a harsh bun at the base of her head and the tight tank and shorts showed off every curve she had, unlike the other girls in her class, with their flat chests and lack of hips. The music began and she lost herself to the elaborate sound as she began to dance.
As soon as she began, she felt free. She always had, when she danced. It was her escape in every sense of the word. When she danced, it was just her and the music and the bliss that filled her very core.
She had fallen in love with dancing at a young age, always watching her mother’s company practice and perform. She joined the first chance she could get, immediately taking to it like it was the blood in her veins, and it had been her entire life since then.
One of the double doors slammed open, distracting Aelin from the pirouette she was in and she fell to the floor.
The guy that had strutted through the door froze. His green eyes grew wide as he pulled down the sweat drenched hood of his sweatshirt, revealing ruffled, damp silver hair. He pulled the earbuds out of his ears as he said, “Shit. Are you okay?”
Aelin snapped her head towards him, her breathing heavy. “Can you not read?”
The handsome stranger raised an eyebrow. “Very well actually.”
“Oh,” she said, climbing to her feet. “So you just aren’t observant of your surroundings?”
The stranger didn’t say anything as his eyes roved her body. She grabbed her hoodie off the bench nearby and pulled it on, zipping it as she made her way to the doors he was standing in front of.
She yanked open the door to reveal a handwritten sign proclaiming “Closed for Private Practice, Please DO NOT ENTER”.
The stranger clicked his tongue and crossed his arms, leaning against the wall. His calmness drove Aelin mad as they sized up one another, the words written on the door lingering between them.
Finally, he said, “Has anyone ever told you that your face doesn’t match your personality? You seem so graceful and beautiful until you open your mouth.”
Aelin was fuming. “Has anyone ever told you that you’re an ass?”
“You surely wouldn’t be the first, but I’d rather you call me other things,” he said, a smirk on his lips.
“Ugh,” Aelin groaned and let the door fall from her grasp. She made her way over to the sound system in the corner and began unplugging her phone and charger.
“What are you doing?”
She turned her head to see the man still standing there, watching her, his head slightly tilted to the side.
“What does it look like?” She asked. “I’m leaving. The studio is yours.” She went to grab her bag, but turned as she passed him. She didn’t expect him to have taken a step towards her and she was nearly pressed up against his solid chest. Breathlessly, she ask “What were you even doing in here?”
It was a logical question. The large, open dance studio in the gym at the University of Orynth was the only thing occupying the 4th floor, save for a small locker room across the hall. It even overlooked the rest of the gym through a two-way mirror.
“I just came to take out the garbage,” he said, gesturing to the bin in the corner. “Took a part time job here.”
Aelin raised a golden brow as he shoved his hands into his pockets. The relaxed gesture almost frustrated her more.
“Well, take out the garbage then,” she said, a bite to her voice. “And, when you’re done with that, the mirrors could use cleaning.”
He smiled, not moving from his position. “Anything else?”
The question caught her off guard. She was expecting more snap, more bite. The sincerity in his voice, so different from his light posture, made her stop as she took a single step back. She didn’t want to admit it, but she was enjoying the little game they were playing.
She said, with just a little less sass, “The floors have become pretty dull. My pointe shoes keep getting caught. They could use a wax.”
“And?” He hadn’t taken a step back, no. He’d taken a step forward.
Aelin swallowed and looked up into his pine green eyes. She took her lip between her teeth and watched as his eyes tracked the gesture. “There are a few bulbs that need to be replaced.”
“Is that all?” His voice came out as a purr.
Aelin’s heart felt like it may come out of her chest, for an altogether different reason than dancing, and nodded her head.
“As you wish,” was all he said.
He didn’t move.
Nor did she.
“I’m Aelin,” she blurted, for lack of anything better to say.
“Rowan,” he said, quietly, in response.
They weren’t far apart, now. She could scent the mint coming off his breath, the warmth of it nearly felt against her forehead.
As if sensing her thoughts, he took another step toward her, his fingers brushing lightly against her own.
It was madness.
They didn’t even know each other.
Yet, Aelin felt a pull toward him, both within her chest and between her legs.
Abruptly, she asked, “What time is it?”
To Rowan’s credit, he didn’t step back or show much surprise to the sudden question. He just flicked his eyes to the clock behind her, above the wall of mirrors. “9:17. Why?”
“Because I have the studio booked for forty-three more minutes.” Rowan’s tongue peeked out, wetting his lip. “Do you have a girlfriend?”
His dark brows slightly furrowed as he asked, “What? No, I-.”
Another word didn’t leave his lips before Aelin’s own we’re crashing upon them. He was surprised for only a second, before a hand clutched the back of head and an arm snaked around her waist. He kissed her with as much fervor as she did him, and before she knew it, she felt her back pressed against the cold, reflective glass of the mirror.
Her legs wrapped around his waist as his tongue danced idly around her own. A soft grunt came out of him as she nipped at his bottom lip, and something inside of her was unleashed.
Calloused fingers slip down her arm, down her side, down her thigh, and she almost found herself begging for those fingers to be elsewhere.
She kissed a line down his chin and began to pepper kisses over the stubble of his jaw. She followed the strong column of his throat, stopping to bite his skin, sucking and licking the hurt away right after. He groaned lightly and she began to grind against him. His hands moved from her thighs to her ass, and he ground his fingers into the supple flesh as he pressed his hardening length against her core.
Aelin let out a soft gasp, not entirely caused by the surprise of the size of him. No, he was pressing against her most sensitive spot and if he kept it up, she was going to explode, taking every inch of him without a second thought.
But the handle on the door began to shake, snapping her out of her thoughts.
Rowan quickly set her down and her feet landed silently on the floor. The only sound in the room was the door futilely being pushed from the outside and their heavy breathing. After a moment, the shaking stopped and silence settled in the room. Aelin took one glance at Rowan, found him already staring and they were instantly upon each other again, this time immediately tearing at each other’s clothes.
Rowan’s hoodie had been thrown across the room and Aelin’s soon followed. He lifted her tank top off her body and she was able to get his shirt off before he pulled her bra down, her breast popping out and his mouth closing around a pert nipple.
She gasped and her hand slid into his silver hair.
His hand reached up, rolling the sensitive nub between his fingers. She whimpered as he brought his teeth down and tugged lightly.
The second his mouth left her breast, she dropped to her knees and began to work his pants down his legs. His cock sprang out, and though her mouth went dry and at the sight of him, arousal was pooling between her legs.
With a tentative lick to the tip, she gripped his substantial length at the base. One of his fists was balled up at his side, and when Aelin glanced up, she saw the fingers of his other hand were rubbing over his lips, a look of pure desire in his green eyes as he stared down at her on her knees.
Keeping her eyes on his, she lifted his cock and, from base to tip, gave him one long, flat lick up the underside, pausing to swirl her tongue around the head. Rowan’s chest was heaving as Aelin reached for the balled fist at his side and placed it on the back of her head.
Instantaneously, his fingers were knotted in her hair. He gripped it tightly and she looked up at him.
“Do you want me in your mouth, princess?” he asked, voice low with desire.
She nodded, rubbing the head of his cock against her lips, opening to take just the tip in and lightly suck.
The primal, guttural noise that left Rowan’s lips was almost enough to make Aelin come on the spot, but instead, she bobbed her head and took as much of him into her mouth as she could. When he bumped the back of her throat she moaned and his hand tightened in her hair. She moaned again.
“Do you like when I pull your hair, baby?”
She nodded.
“Answer me with my cock in your mouth.”
Aelin hummed her agreement and watched as Rowan’s eyes rolled back into his head. She had begun to move on him again when he said, “Do you want to touch yourself, Aelin?”
The sound of her name from his lips was excruciating enough, but she moaned again in confirmation.
She had no idea what was happening. This wasn’t her, and yet, she wanted it. She wanted him. This stranger, who she hadn’t known until minutes before. She wasn’t sure if she believed in love at first sight, but whatever the hell this was, she believed in it. She could only nod.
“Let me see.”
She shifted her shorts to the side, revealing red lace. The growl that left him at the sight had her plunging her fingers inside herself. The moan that ripped from her had him groaning and plunging his other hand into her hair and thrusting deeper into her mouth, into her throat.
Gods, she was wet. She was so unbelievably wet and so, so turned on.
The throbbing, the ache, between her legs had her nearly paralyzed. She wanted to lie back on the wooden floorboards and let him roam her body until she was nothing but a whirlwind of bliss and pleasure.
With her other hand, Aelin reached up and gripped him at the base. She worked her mouth in time with her hand and before she knew it, Rowan on his knees with her, his mouth crashing against her own. He laid her back against the floor and kissed down her body, stopping when he reached the top of her shorts. Green eyes gazing through lashes, he looked up at her as he kissed just below her stomach and began to pull her shorts and underwear off. He pressed kisses to her hip bones and then so close to where she needed him at the apex of her legs, before moving to her thighs where he began to bite and suck. Aelin squirmed, one hand latching into his hair as she tried to maneuver his lips where she craved him. With a breathy chuckle against her sex, he pressed a kiss to her and opened her folds with one long lick.
The sound that came from Aelin was not human. Her eyes fluttered shut, and right as she was on the edge of climaxing, his tongue trailed slowly, slowly up her body.
Rowan pressed a kiss to Aelin’s brow and breathed, “Tell me to stop if you don’t want this.”
She only shook her head. “I don’t want this. I need this.”
It was true. Though her break up with Chaol had been mutual, it had still been painful. It had been over two years and he had moved on and was married with a baby on the way, and though Aelin was happy for him, she hadn’t been with anyone else, hadn’t wanted to. Until an unfamiliar set of green eyes roved over her body and ignited something that had been long slumbering.
With bright eyes, Rowan pushed himself into her. The primal man that was just standing in front of her was gone and replaced by a gentle, but strong, lover. His eyes stayed connected with hers and his hips thrust into her own. Aelin didn’t waiver, didn’t take her eyes away. He reached up his hand and brushed away a strand of golden hair.
“Aelin,” he breathed, and it wasn’t her name but a prayer, a blessing, an urgent, wild plea. His elbows rested on both sides of her head as he pressed his lips against hers, his hips snapping into her own. Her own hands roamed down his back, following the tattoo that flowed down his side and torso. He hitched her leg around his hip and with his next thrust, he hit the spot Aelin had begun to believe was a myth and a legend.
With a cry, Aelin threw her head back and began to writhe beneath him. She was so close. He’d brought her so close to the edge and stopped so many times, that she thought she may actually combust if he did it again. With a whimper, she said, “Rowan, please.”
His name leaving her lips was an unleashing.
He picked her up and pressed her back against the mirror as his hips slammed into unrelenting pace. His lips dragged down her throat, his teeth scraping as they went.
Her voice was hoarse as she whispered his name, her body shaking as her long nails clawed into the tanned skin of his back.
She clung to him as her body fell into utter euphoria.
She was still spiraling into utter bliss when she noticed his thrusts becoming much more demanding, picking up pace and the quiet groans that left his lips as he said, “No condom.”
Her face was buried in his neck as she said, “I’m on the pill.”
And that was that.
Rowan pressed her hips against the mirror as he fucked her harder than he had yet. One hand snaked up and wrapped around her throat as he squeezed lightly. Aelin’s head was thrown back as she fell over the edge one last time, Rowan following right after, as he spilled himself inside of her.
They stared at each other for a long while, while their breathing went from heavy and ragged to soft and shaky.
Aelin smiled, laughing softly up at him. Not because what they had just done was humorous, but because what they had just done was pure insanity.
She didn’t know him.
But she sure as hell wanted to.
He is pressed a soft kiss to her lips and began to pull out, but Aelin tightened her legs around his waist. “What, uhm, what time are you off work?”
He blushed and rubbed a hand down the back of his neck. “I don’t actually work for the gym. I was actually coming up here to do stretches, but I didn’t see your sign.” Aelin threw her head back and laughed. “So,” he said, resting his forehead against hers. “I guess I’m free now, if you’re asking.”
She grinned. “I am asking.”
A light sparked in his eyes as if saying that he wanted to stay right where they were, but he nodded, his smile making her blush from the beauty of it. “Good.”
