‘ i take care of myself just FINE, felix. i don’t need a babysitter, ‘ rowen’s annoyance & stubbornness highly showed in her fake smile. having someone offer to take care of her definitely threw her, showing that would be a WEAKNESS in her eyes. -- cristos was the only one that showed her that type of affection & he’s her brother. the type of trust it would take to let someone IN like that wasn’t easy for her. reacting with snark was the only way rowen saw fit, ‘ i didn’t realize you cared so much. ‘
