So I finally went back and redid the final boss as Rowen to see if I could get the epilogue party despite her save being old and! I was successful!!! The whole thing was so fucking cute, I’m obsessed. I recorded the whole thing and I will definitely be going over it later to pull out favorite moments but for now! Have some hugs!

I truly did not expect to love Lae’zel as much as I do. How much and quickly she begins to change during and after the events at the crèche as her world begins to crumble around her. Getting approval for asking her if it’s odd that the crèche only has one egg. Her standing her ground against Vlaakith at the start of Act 3. Her bitterness and grief as the life she thought she’d have is torn away but her resolve that Vlaakith cannot take her new life from her. I am So Emotional over her, augh.

Just thinking about how the opening of the Cazador fight went in Rowen’s playthrough and just. How bafflingly insane it must have been from his perspective.

Like. You do your grand speech. You Telekinesis your missing spawn into place in the ritual. You’re good to go! Surely these mortal weirdos can see how powerful you are and will simply leave, unable to stand against your might.

And then. They start attacking you. Attacking you! The gall of it! But it’s fine, all of your spawn are in place and-

You watch as the very angry purple tiefling who clearly has formed some sort of romantic entanglement with your missing spawn knocks back a potion and, with a speed even you, an Extremely Powerful Vampire Lord, cannot manage without magically aid, clicks her heels together and teleports across your ritual chamber and drags your runaway spawn out of his magical bindings.

All before you can do anything to fight back.
