Row Ponds 2 (Week 49/52) by Mick PK Cloudy but warm and dry following the warmest few days of the year so far. Not that many people about to say it's half-term week, probably a little too early. https://flic.kr/p/2m3vxGu

Row Ponds 2 (Week 31/52) by Mick PK Another dull, grey and overcast day; much warmer than the past few days. Paths still very, very muddy in areas of high traffic; I wish something could be done to overcome the problem. Conservation work is taking place at the Old Hall and sheeting can clearly be seen running left from around the centre of the Old Hall; I hope it's biodegradable. I've been aware of problems with the steps and retaining wall in that area for a couple of years, possibly three. Good numbers of people about taking their exercise, most but I'm sure not all complying with lockdown restrictions. https://flic.kr/p/2kwcC7x
Row Ponds 2 (Week 16/52) by Mick PK Dull, overcast and raining by the time I was able to get out. Even so at that time rain didn't last too long at that time and good numbers out for a walk. Numbers of black-headed gulls are increasing and beginning to form their usual winter roost at Hardwick. https://flic.kr/p/2jUL5wy
Row Ponds 2 (Week 07/52) by Mick PK A lovely bright and sunny August afternoon, very hot and very humid. Driving to Hardwick from Bolsover the car said it was 32 degrees, I can believe that. A few people about and only one fisherman, the grey heron, obviously too hot. Still playing with filters on the S10, B&W this week. https://flic.kr/p/2jvDA8V
Row Ponds (Week 44/52) by Mick PK A glorious afternoon at the beginning of May, a few shower of rain earlier but a lovely afternoon. The trees are almost on full leaf now and shots that didn't look very good a few weeks ago are now looking promising. A dead fish floating on the surface of the fourth Row Pond, hopefully a one off. https://flic.kr/p/2fFvqFs
Row Ponds (Week 41/52) by Mick PK Something a little different this week; a goose level view. A lovely bright and sunny afternoon but not particularly warm, rather cool. The park was very busy; I can only assume schools in some areas have already broken up for the Easter holidays. More lambs than last week and some up around the Row Ponds but I couldn't get a decent shot. I'll try again next week. https://flic.kr/p/RJCnmt
Row Ponds (Week 26/52) by Mick PK Week 26 and the halfway mark on a dreich December afternoon between Christmas and New Year. This morning was bright and at times sunny; not this afternoon. Having said that plenty of people out for a walk and a few hardy fishermen; not the heron, sensible bird. https://flic.kr/p/2cssiWX
Row Ponds (Week 18/52) by Mick PK Early November and glorious weather; frosty to begin with this morning but lovely sunshine by mid morning. Half term week so good numbers of people about including families. The grey heron was out patrolling the ponds but little else. Autumn colours are out but still seem to be behind many areas; I was up at Padley on Thursday and the trees their are much further forward. https://flic.kr/p/NQtyZz
