It's actually better that we continue to buy honey! If we don't take honey from their hives bees tend to produce much more than they need to survive and will overcrowd their hive with it causing them to leave the hive and swarm because they don't have enough space! So actually it's beneficial to them! Always buy local honey though and support your local beekeeper!! 🌻
