Hyunwo had smacked his palms over the handcrafted, rustic cypress table in his office when Mr. Cassiel uttered those words. The blood rushed up to his face, clearly offended, but he would deny otherwise if pointed out. How dare such a man tell him to calm down? He didn’t need calming down, he needed for Cassiel to agree to his terms! Earlier in the conversation Hyunwoo had asked for Mr. Cassiel to let him borrow one of the man’s clients, though this one had persistently refused him. He was appalled that someone could refuse him.
Still he pressed on.
“Mr. Cassiel, why can’t you see this will benefit us both? Do you know how much recognition your client would gain because of me? Don’t let the deal of a lifetime pass you by.”
