As my friend pointed out:
Steve in season 2 learning that Nancy doesn't actually love him
Steve in season 5 learning that the reason Dustin pushed him away was that he loves him so much he can't imagine losing him

Eddie who thinks the reason Steve is so cold around him is because he's still King Steve, up until something happens with Dustin during a D&D session (or otherwise) that sets him off and he uses his walkie to signal Steve first (before even telling Eddie whats wrong) and when Steve gets there to comfort him, Eddie realizes thats why Steve is so cold and defensive. These are Steves sheep that he's taken into his flock. Steve is just jealous and protective, as he has every right to be.
im a believer in dustin ragebaiting steve on the regular, yes, but also I believe when steve ragebaits dustin its on a whole other level
sometimes, steve genuinely just doesn't understand certain things or gets something wrong, and we have all seen how stubborn he gets when hes incorrect about something (i.e., entirety of season 3)
but he also enjoys stating incorrect information on purpose just to mess with dustin and his need to correct people
so dustin has a terrible time distinguishing between steve just being confused, and steve just being a bitch. dustin falls for the bait EVERY TIME.
*having a good day*

I just realized that Steve falls off the tower bc he’s trying to make it over to Dustin and Robin.
He sees that the tower is about to snap and yells at them all to look out
Then even tho he’s on the opposite side of the platform
He runs towards Dustin and Robin instead of sidestepping to safety by Jonathan
And he makes it halfway there before he’s knocked off balance and falls back towards the edge
au where steve died in s4 instead of eddie
Do y’all think Steve hung this newspaper clipping of Dustin up in the Squawk because it was the only way to see Dustin’s smile after Eddie died and he missed it?
Nothing is more insufferable than entering the dustin tag only to find posts about anybody BUT him, like his name is just there for attraction. This is NOT tiktok, people. It's full of byler, steddie, lumax and Steve x henderson!oc 💀
If yall will not talk about him and HIS ships/duos, then don't use this fucking tag at all.
